I hold an MFA in Creative Writing and Nonfiction from Fairfield University.

I have delivered presentations and training to audiences of hundreds throughout my marketing and public relations career in NYC. I have also served as a grant writer for non-profits while I lived in Washington D.C.

I have an extensive background in event planning, having run my own business for years. Each year, my large family appoints me as their reunion coordinator!

Currently, I serve as a Program Manager in Fairfield University's Advancement division, where I develop programming and scripts for campus events.

My creative work includes nonfiction essays, poetry, a memoir-in-progress, and several flash pieces.

I love discovering fountains of inspiration for my writing retreat business, Acorn Experiences, that I founded with fellow MFA-er Lindsey Vernon. We create productive get-aways for hard-working writers and creatives.
